I specialise in web design, web application development, online marketing and advertising, and consulting on internet strategy. An early adopter of internet technology, I have over 15 years experience with the internet.
I graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1997, with a BSc degree in Information Management. While at Queens I set up my first company, IT in Action. This was an IT consultancy and web development company.
In 2000 I co-founded Adculture – A Digital Advertising Agency. Adculture went on to become one of the largest Online Agencies in Ireland with clients including Eircom, Bank of Ireland, Irish Life, Paddy Power, BT, CIE, Toyota, An Post and BUPA.
As a Director of Adculture I was responsible for the creation and management of client campaigns. This involved working closely with the design team on creative ideas as well as overseeing the media buying and advertising management process. In that time I worked on over 100 successful online marketing campaigns, giving me unparalleled experience in this area.
In April 2004 I became Head of Creative at Bluecube Interactive, a new online agency owned by AV Browne in Belfast. While at Bluecube I worked on accounts like BT, InvestNI, ARUP and Maybin, amongst others.
After Bluecube I established my own web development and online marketing company, Fresh Ideas. Since that time I have worked for a number of clients including PropertyNews.com, Salesforce, Mainstream Renewable Power, Trinity College Dublin, Belfast Telegraph, Eden Pottery and many others.
